I have justed picked up Autosport which has almost 3 pages in about Le Mans. In the text is that Taurus did not complete 10 laps due to a fuel pump problem in the morning. After the repair they were down 100Bhp.

Also there is that Amanda Stretton is pregnant which is the reason she is not racing but insists she will be back.

1) One hopes that the power reduction accounts for the time only marginally quicker than the Morgan........

2) Bottle feeding down the Mulsanne.......

Indeed, but I was just thinking of the practicalities of one hanging out, one hand on the wheel - with the other method, you could just strap it the floor and pressure-feed....

Her partner Bob Berridge I guess. BTW, she sat in Bert Taylor's red Vauxhall when we were shatting outside the paddock on Saturday at short past 6.

Edited to add: I asked her to step aside so that I could get a descent picture of the TVRs. Smiley She kindly did so, thank you Amanda.

Shatting in public?Huh Shocked I know it's France and they take a somewhat more liberal view to these things than the Brits and Germans, but surely this is no way to impress a lady? I bet Gilles didn't go in for this before he put the lovely Amanda into foal.

Oh sorry HGB. My mistake, I didn't know the local bylaws allowed for the activity after the hours of darkness.

I wish it had been me, but now I shall just have to cry over a lack of feminine lust objects this June.  Cry
