Thick Head - All Read - Pre Qual's

Well I am back at work after one of the most amazing times ever!

Three of us from Leeds decided to go for Pre Qualifying at the last minute, best decision we have met to date!

Things we did

Stumbled into 3 Club Arnage chaps in Liverpool Airport who were on there way down. They were really helpful and we chatted about the races and what we were going to be up to. Will meet you 3 for a beer in June this year chaps.

Spent Saturday night drunk getting taxi's all over the place in Le Mans only to find we were indeed 15 meters from our hotel!

Bumped into no other than Johnny Herbert in his hotel and got a picture taken with him! Not sure who was the worst for wear us or him? Think about it, it was late Saturday night!

Blagged our way into one of the hospitality tents for the Porche Team drivers and got free German booze and then a spaghetti bolognaise to die for - all free! We were left to help our selves to the entire fridge full of chilled beer (Superb) left after around 6 free ones!

Watched more racing than you can shake a stick at!

Got a wonderful tan (Apart from Mr Tiger Who has a truck drivers burned right arm!)

Borrowed 3 x Kronenberg's from the Club Arnage Boys who had the white campervan! It was under the Van on Sunday lunch time, we popped back to see you again but you were all out and about. We will catch up with you this June and return the favour.

Got taken through France & the Metro drunk on the way home by a beautiful lady! Totally went out of her way for us and sorted us out, we would have still been there if it were not for her help.

Oh and not to forget........ A THICK HEAD this morning!!!

Hope you all had a great time as we obviously did, it was a great time we had and are chomping at the bit for this June!

W A W (wot a weekend)  

Great meeting you guy's at the weekend.
 Had a great time myself, even though I am a llama virgin.
 Great to meet fellow C A members,(how did I know) the tee shirts gave me a little clue.
 Also like to say a big thank you to SMOKIE for ferrying us around on saturday, sure saved us some shoe leather, and the car stickers BRILLIANT, just dont drive around at home with them on the doors, people will think your a taxi.
    Once again thanks to every one I met for making the weekend, a very good weekend.
