David Dowse from Morgan sent the following update on opportunities to be involved with the Morgan Le Mans effort;

Dear Friends

As the Team packs for the journey to France for this weekend's vital Le Mans pre-race test, we're in good shape technically and morale is high. We have been warmed by the support we continue to receive from all around the world. But we need to do more to raise the funds we need to take on the Ferrari and Porsche teams on a more level playing field.

 We have won our entry for Les 24 Heures du Mans and we are right in there with the sole intention of sharing our class podium with our arch-rivals having split their ranks at Le Mans 1000km and Sebring.

Now our race partners, Mecachrome, Mader, KW and Yokohama are dedicated to maximising our fuel, tyre and brake advantages and bringing us the result we - and you - richly deserve.

Many of you have expressed your generous wish to be part of this tremendous adventure.  Offers of donations and funding of all kinds are coming in - and being very gratefully accepted, as the team is still looking for a major sponsor - a staggering opportunity for someone! - and we have a budget shortfall.

In response to this interest, we have created three levels of private sponsorship:  (a) 'your name on the car' for £50 (about US$90) onto which amount any further donation can be added, (b) Exclusive Partnership - a £1000 package that includes a number of privileges and services and (c) 'sealed bids' for  just 7 VIP packages and double bedrooms at our pair of large French houses, 10 minutes from the circuit where the winning occupants can live, all found, with the key team members Thursday-Monday of the 24 hr race weekend (a reserve guide for this option being £4000 per double room).

By clicking on the links associated with the three options below, you can go straight to the appropriate payments page or, in the case of the double bedroom option, send us a bid by email.  Thank you again for your huge interest and generous help - we'll be dedicating our 24 hrs to you.

Thanks for your support - keep the faith!
David Dowse, Team Manager

We tried this a few months back, Brian from Liverpool tried getting us all to try,

I think we raised about £400 and that was from about 6 people.

This wont be a popular one......

PM!?
No PQ?!
Just a pocket pickin' moment, what's going on here?
Surely the earth will now spin off it's axis and horses will start eating each other in the streets!!
Have you got your motor back yet, I hope it's not coming UPS.

Just about to order some factory 'long tubes' for my LS1 - yours look much nicer.
