Gents
I can now confirm that Harry & Rocky from the Tres Hombres local curry house, the Khyber, will be travelling to Le Mans this year. Harry is maitr'e d and Rocky is the chef and thay asked me tonight if it would be OK for them to bring all the cooking paraphenalia and rustle up some bottom burners for us.
"Would it be OK"HuhHuhHuh

Consider it done said I...........

Now here's where I may need some help to bring the authentic taste of east India to Le Mans.....We are booked on Maison Blanche but last time I checked Motor Racing International had exhausted their allocation of MB camp site places. Can anyone offer any help or suggestions???

The Rickmeister can vouch for the quality of the curry these guys can rattle up. Just ask him..........

Oh my God - what I'd do for a decent curry....
having spent more than 10 years in the curry capital of Europe, I know find myself in a spicy food desert (unless you include Taco Hell).
not dessert, you understand.
Sign me up for a chicken shikwah, pilau and a keema naan.
I'm feeling all homesick now....

Steve,
There's a good chance I could have a spare one. I'll make a few calls and let you know.
(Don't worry Stu, I don't mean yours!)

I have a spare waiter if you need one - he's been in hiding for a couple of years now, but normally puts in an appearance each June...

Lord Steve, where to you intend to provide your curry as I plan to set up the chip van and it may be nice to have a little fast food area.

Also, I had planned to have curry sauce available for the chips and battered sausages.  But it would be unacceptable to have a retail competition.
Therefore, I will leave the curry sauce at home if you undertake to not produce scampi tails and cod roe.

Oh, and the curried eggs (too windy)  Lips Sealed

Can we make sure that those wearing a CA Tshirt can have priority queing. Gilles you could be in for a culinary delight. I for one can't wait to partake in one with a few cold beers. It just gets better. Apparently rumour has it that the ACO are currently installing new toilets on MB with patented 'Ring Sting Cooling'  or RSC (tm)  technology. A 24 Hour fan caught these on camera whilst trying to be the first onto MB this year.

Gilles, it is MB, this photo was taken last year to show how much space we had taped off for Andy Zarse.
See you next week.

I hear that MB is fully booked so Tres Punjabis (in association with Tres Hombres) are likely to pitch up in Bleu and we'll carry the cooking gear over to MB.
Think a few pakoras and bhajis will go down nicely in the tribune opposite the pits as pre-race snacks, don't you.
Look out for us near the T.W.A.T.S flag. Pending the strength of the Friday night curry we may be the one's with the surrounding spectators keeping a safe distance from us. No naked flames please!!

Lord Steve

I'll happily ferry it over in my people carrier if need be. Don't want to hurt the chefs back. They could make a small fortune just selling rice and sauce so you can just add your own meat.
