Its True, It's a Lola B2K/10. According to DSC, the engine a twin-turbo v10 built by Mountune with input from Caterpillar, Subject to the ACO giving it an entry it will be there for its first runs at the PQ's.
Audi are now almost certain to enter there own Diesel in 2005, Ulrich has confirmed as much in an interview, he is also hopeful that more major companies will enter the LMP class with both oil burners and petrol-hybrd cars.
BTW Ulrich said that in 2005 audi would be the 2'nd team to enter a deisel.

Judd is also working on a V10 diseasel engine. Is that the right direction when with the introduction of the EURO 5 emission norm in 2010 basically all diseasels will be banned from our roads (at least in Euroland) ? I much more prefer the methanol approach. At least you can drink that stuff.

Robbo It's in Autosport this week, last year there was a car that was run on a wheat based fuel. On the 2003 dvd they interview the team about the plan..

Use of booze ? No, actually I think it was for use of alternative energy. The car was running on methanol.

Probably one for being the only car with an alternative fueled engine - or a Blue Peter badge?

Can anyone remember what the award was. The Nasamax car was fuelled on bio-ethanol - as an alcohol it works out at about 200 degrees proof. The award was for the best communications and PR at the event. Mark

Rick, Why rather worryingly does the quick-release go round on your campag scirroco picture. Being a racing cyclist I usually sh*t myself when I see this happening to my front wheel.
What is Janice's Web site then??

Ooh good point about the QR!!! Yeah would be a tad worrying! Janice website is at www.mintonevent.co.uk although it has been "tweaked" a little since I built it a couple of years ago (i.e. any glitches are not down to me!!!! )

I tried using this stuff to cook the chips in once. It has as hot as hell but I ended up frazzling my eyebrows. Diesels not a good idea either as it leaves a nasty after taste to the plaice.

I'm having a really hard time understanding this. What on earth will they do with all the lorries etc. Now I know that lots of people would like them banned, but they do deliver lovely cars, as well as other things!
