I'm now a definite. Travelling via Hoverspeed Thurs 6 pm, back at 8:30 pm Sun. Staying Fri/Sat at a hotel in town centre (Ibis?).
Anyone else going to be there during Fri/Sat?
Are we going to hang round the pit on Sat or is there a plan for a beer or three? I did the Oyster bar with kpy in November and that was fun...

We fly into CDG at 1025, pick up hire car and drive down, the plan is to go straight to the track, pick up tickets for the big race and meet up with the rest of the crew at 1880, Mr & Mrs RS2 are also in the same hotel. Will pm you my mobile number and we can have a chat. Looking forward to meeting up again. Brian, Ian and Catob.

Mr & Mrs RS2 will certainly be there at 18.80 - its quite obvious really - the 80 minutes is the time difference between France and Liverpool - they just nicked an extra 10 minutes........
RS2babe's work censor the internet access at the moment and I just lurk in a dark corner and never post in order to retain my newbie/llama status.........
....but prepare for an interesting statement from Mrs RS2 in respect of further female accompanyment in June....................................

Can't see much on the website about what's on this weekend, so I suppose it's not much! Who cares anyway... Preliminary practice sessions : they will be held on Sunday 25th April. The track (13,650 kms), will be open from 09h00 to 13h00 and from 14h00 to 18h00. Technical checks and scrutineering will take place on Friday 23rd April from 10h00 to 18h00 and Saturday 24th April from 09h00 to 15h00.Gilles, where is the scrutineering? At the track or at the auction place? All attendees - don't forget to pay the small fee which lets you get your car inside the track, it's well worth it as it saves you walking round from place to place. I assume CA t shirts are de rigeur for Saturday evening?
