Camp where you park is what we did. We were in Blue. You could camp in Maison Blanch but I think they were after charging about 60euros, so we thought we'd camp for 15euros in parking Bleu. Ther is another thread on this somewhere, try the "find" facility above. Andy Z

I wouldn't sit there if I were you, it's still a bit wet.

I camped on MB last classic (see pic) and have masses of space. We booked through Just Tickets and yes we paid 60GBP. Thinking of going but it clashes with the National 24 Hour Bike (Push Bike) Race that I want to compete in this year.

thanks very much gents. some of our guys not sure if they can be bothered to camp again for a shorter time than the main race - even though we all know it's the best way to get under the skin of le mans. so gilles, i would really appreciate some tips on hotel accommodation (especially with secure parking). thanks. rory

hi gilles there will be 5 or 6 of us. we just need somewhere basic but close to the circuit with secure parking. doesn't need to be in le mans itself. i rented a house in st suzanne a couple of years ago for a week during prequalifying. it would be perfect (plenty of bedrooms, secure parking, good roads) but is a little too far away at about an hour's drive. we arrive on the thursday late night and leave on the sunday after the race. any suggestions would be great. i'm a big fan of the logis de france but guess they are all full. all the best rory

Last time the only camp site open was Maison Blanche. It wasn't too busy and was much more civilised than June.

Do you need someone to make up numbers for the rental house? Does Maison Blanche have all the usual wash/toilet facilities during the classic?
Thanks for any help.
