I was in town today and saw a tremendous gadget in a shop. The "George Forman lean mean fat reducing grilling machine" Electric BBQ. If you have a power supply this could be the answer.

Actually, I was surprised when I first saw the box, as the word "reducing" is at 90 degree angle to the rest of the scrip and I couldn't read it. To me it read: "lean mean fat grilling machine and I wondered who would want to eat grilled fat? Then I remembered:

Mmmmmm.......    Grilled fat! Grin

What a scam these George Forman Grills are.  I bought one and it didn't help my boxing skills at all.  I got my face punched in...

Actually, they're f**k*ng incredible.  It cooks anything perfectly.  I know that sounds like a load of crap but it's true.  Meat, fish, large slabs of lard, you name it.

comes in a nice shade or Blue.

What's wrong with blue then?

Canada Phil splahed out his hard earned on a $10 3m sq one at Sebring last year, to give us some shade from the burning sun. This would probabl;y have been late Friday afternoon. We got it back and erected it - magnificent.

About 90 minutes later the mother of all storms hit Sebring. For over an hour (or was it two?) there were four of us standing under this gazebo, holding each corner tightly so it didn't take off and damage nearby vehicles etc. I have never seen such rain for such a long time. You couldn't afford to let go for a second as it would have been whipped out of your hand. Pidge said it was the edge of a typhoon or something...

Suffice to say, it was useless once the rains subsided. I was surprised that Phil thought it worthwhile to bother taking home the poles which hadn't got bent...

Oh, and earlier that afternoon I'd bought an official Mobil1 Sebring shirt, something over £20 IIRC. Next day the stall was having a Storm Damage sale, and I could have had 2 for the price of 1...

Yes, I remember arriving at the disaster site on Saturday morning.  You guys looked like you had been defending the Khe Sanh airbase in Vietnam.

I prefer the George Formby Grill - turned out rice again....

I'd love to see your little stick of Blackpool rock.

Synchronicity city again. You absolutely would not believe this, but I actually bought a George Formby Greatest Hits cassette for 25p yesterday in Redruth, Cornwall! And it is to take to Le Mans too! My mate Paul is bringing his ukelele along this year, to go alaong with the Jack Douglas/Alf Ippitittimus costume.

Redruth is a strange place, I found six shops that had top hats for sale. Why?  Huh

Can you hear me mother?
