Oh, woe .......

Postie laden with envelopes .... YESSSSSS, some cards ....... none for me tho' - all for the young Adonis who reckons he's my son ....... why aren't I getting cards  from 15yr old girls any more ??

Oh well, I'll go and  put new felt on the garden shed, then do some light pruning .

Roll on June ....

Note to BigH - 'June' refers to Le Mans, not what you are thinking  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Now come on Dryhen - you've got to give him the obvious opportunities like this or it builds up and strange things start happening.

Mrs Dreamracers & I have a long standing agreement that we dont do Valentines day.  Works really well as we dont need Hallmark to tell us when to appreciate each other....! Grin

I agree. Its Mrs Stu's birthday on Valentines Day and it always causes haassle. You can't get here a decent card cos the shops are full of VD cards. You can't take her out for a meal cos the people slobbering over one another puts you of your food and then some twat tries to sell you a rose at a knock up price and dosn't take to kindly to me telling him/her that we are not interested and also all available possible presents are along the lines of valentines presents.

full of VD

Maybe it is no coincidence the initials of Valentines Day and Venerial Disease are the same?

Couldn't agree more with these sentiments - Mrs Dryhen & I gazed lovingly into each other's eyes on Saturday while cutting down the roses - there's something about a woman with a chopper in her hand  Cheesy Cheesy. The shed roof looks good, too .......
