Electricity on Maison Blanche
«

I have heard various tales of people maanging to tap into an electric supply on Maison Blanche. We managed thsi on Expo a couple of years back but last year we had to take a generator as our advance party (Stu) checked it out on the Monday but there was none to be found on Houx Annexe.
Is electric generally available on MB?? do you ned VERY long extension cables?? Or do you just need to arrive very early to get into the correct area?? I've managed to get hold of a medium sized chest freezer that we are thinking of bringing down for the rapid chilling of beers.

There are only a couple of outlets and theyve usually got about 20 plugs taped to them.As for us,we plug the winnebago in and then those around us plug into our 3pin 240 supply.Got to be careful not to overload though cos when we got the microwave,shower,aircon,fridge/freezer,telly,sat system on all at the same time, just plugging in the vacuum cleaner caused the switch to trip.

I thought it was the Microwave of our French "friend" Phillipe that tripped the breaker.
