Face it lads, you can't polish a turd, even by sponsoring it.

I think of you as being a bit like a veteran car; you only "rally" a couple of times a year and when you do, you have to be started by hand! Wink Grin

The Commer is of course a transexual. A bit like it's owne.... Er? Huh Huh

Mornin' all. In truth, I admire anyone who has the gritty resolve and the dream to participate in this race. Even if they choose to attempt it in an idiosynchratic machine like the Aero 8, variety being the spice of life, and all.
That said, for me, admiration does not usually extend to forking out my hard earned to the cause - particularly if it's a lost cause. It's rather like backing a donkey in the Grand National, in my opinion.
I suspect that the Czars of Malvern (i.e. the Morgan family) are not short of a bob or two. The company might be a little light in the coffers, but ol' "plum in the mouth" Charles seems fairly well-heeled. Why doesn't he back his own product, the chinless in-bred bufoon?
The guys who are trying to run that car deserve respect, for the sheer enormity and hopelessness of the task. The manufacturer wants his namby-pamby arse kicking.
Just my 2c worth.... and it shouldn't be obvious that I had a bit of a run-in with Charles Morgan once - the tight-fisted twat.

I see where they are bringing one to Sebring.  I give it about an hour before its a shambles.  Between the Sebring bumps and the LMP & GTS guys bashing off of it, should be shedding bodywork with regularity.
