Just seen the prices for 2024.
Ouch, some big price rises there. Week ticket €115 if you are not a member and the good grandstands are an eye watering €175, as in the past no discount for ACO membership, that's up about 75% I think. Not looking forward to seeing the price of camping!

I was thinking about trying a grandstand for the first time ever for my 40th but think I might leave that one we will see at camping costs.

24% increase in GE week ticket prices if you are not an ACO member!
And of course ACO members are now limited to 2 tickets at the members price, only 4 in total, the extra 2 can be student, PMR or full price, not 6 discounted like they used to be able to get.

They will be crying into their wine if everyone says 'f*ck that'
The ACO needs to remember the 80's, few entries, few spectators compared to now.

I'm getting more and more tempted by the idea of a nice drive around Northern France with the luxury of hotel or B&Bs and restaurants, then perhaps a day ticket to watch some racing at the circuit (or just watch the beginning and end of the race sat in a nice bar somewhere).

New limits on number of tickets you can buy.
N.B. Camping tickets.

It also looks as though the free grandstand seats (other than T17/T18) for those without GS tickets are a thing of the past now....

If you mean on the days before race weekend, I would agree that's how it looks.

Will this apply to test day?

Won't the stands be a bit empty, or will they sell day tickets, and can you go to other stands?

There is no mention of access on Test Day whereas full week GS ticket holders specifically have access on the 9th June.    I see also that if you have a full week entry ticket but no GS ticket, there is a strange reference to 'Authorised access only from 12 to 14 June' mentioned re grandstands.  What that is supposed to mean, I have no idea.

Ok, let’s get some perspective on this.
Yes the prices have gone up, and yes being an ACO member is not as beneficial as it once was.
Clearly a shed load of money was spent on last year’s Centenary event, a lot of it on very visible and clearly long term improvements to the infrastructure of the place and other facilities, especially the members areas, they have to recoup this somehow.
By way of comparison, Silverstone F1 tickets for 2024 are £329 for 3 day GE, minimum of £489 for 3 day GE pus grandstand, and camping is £129 per person plus £50 supplement for your vehicle, for just 6 hours of track action.
Even at the new inflated prices there are few better value top class motor racing events in the world, and let’s be honest, how many of you are really going to spite yourself by not going?
