Bit of a long shot, maybe, but.......... Anyone have info. on queuing times, at either Newhaven (to get on) and Dieppe (to get off)? I've tried asking the ferry co but their responses either refer to Dover - which is no f*@7ing use, or the standard wording on their website and to 'allow extra time' We did Newhaven/Dieppe morning ferry in April on our way to Arnage (via Spain!). As per other comments much simpler than Dover/Calais - boarding started about 15 mins before departure and we left on time. Dieppe was a slow single lane q out but we were on the road within about 30 mins so actually not that bad. 1 Luton van was being strip searched: was loaded with old furniture and French plod wasn't convinced, standing at the back, that there wasnt a small lump of cheddar somewhere!

We're out Pompey - Caen overnight Weds and back Monday PM, in a green Evora. Camping in Houx with the DfH crew, nopanic, Steve Pyro, kev & gang.
For those that have done it so far, what's the sitrep at Portsmouth getting onboard and at Calais arriving?

Newspaper misprints from around the world: "After the boat had been secured above the wrecked galleon the apparatus was set in motion by the captain's 18-year old daughter, Veronica. Within an hour, she was yielding her treasure to the excited crew."
