Who's up for staging a distributed, virtual Le Mans 24h, on the weekend of 13/14th June?
Camping in your own back garden, not washing for a few days, eating mergeuz-equivalents washed down with stubbies of warm lager?
Someone might even stream an old race "as live", and with a bit of Zoom or Skype, collectives could form to talk pish every hour or so...

Well I've got plenty of meat and beer standing by. Shaving seems to be a thing of the past anyway so that just leaves the camping bit. Plus I could rev up the engine of the cobra once in a while  Sounds like a plan. |

It sounds like a good excuse to make a den in the living room to watch a Le Mans race (I vote '89) as my current garden i cant fit my tent in. If my house purchase completes before then, then I can camp!

I loved to see your neighbors faces when fireworks are going off all weekend people pissing up against every thing.blokes wandering down their street at 9am drinking.weird people in fancy dress.i can see it now.ive got 700 pints of homebrew in stock but no mates to share it with.my virtual Le Mans might last all June.

I'm not allowed to get the caravan from storage, but I have the camping chairs, a gazebo and an old portapotti, so I'm all set up. |

She knows such things go on, she's been to LM but I think her attitude might be different on our own doorstep, so to speak.

We did this one year we went to the classic rather than the 24 so as not to miss out. Set up our usual camp in his back garden, got drunk and watched on TV. We also set the playstation up with three drivers and did the full 24 in two hour stints. It was great fun. One person who shall not be named even pissed themselves after a few too many. Very authentic |

The aco,fia and some other Motorsport thingy are holding an esport virtual 24 hour race which will be streamed.the drivers and cars announced next week.it seems it might be quiet good with pro drivers and pro gamers.that bloke from Portugal did well in real cars after the playstation Nissan thing.any race is better than no race I suppose.fingers crossed for September.nogaro had racing a while ago so it can be done.

dj the avener will be playing his set at 23.00 cst on 13th june during the live streaming virtual le mans. well give them creidt for going the whole hog. we even get a virtual live coverband of an actual sh*t real virtual band.
