Access to pitlane for Pit Walk

Attention pit walkers.

It appears that pedestrian access to the pit lane for the public pit walks this year is only available from the far side of the Module Sportif at Parking 6A entrance near the entrance of the long disused car tunnel under the track. (It used to be between the MS and the pit grandstand)

Sorry GF, I've been going for 18 years and haven't got a clue where the places you mention are.
Does it mean you can't access the pit lane at the tower end anymore?
Access village end of the pits only?
Or somewhere in between?

The 'Module Sportif" is the big tower at pit entry.
The vehicle tunnel runs under the track at the Ford Chicane but it has been blocked off for the last 20 years or so.
You used to access the pitlane by going between the tower and the pit grandstand building. Now you have to go the other side of the tower and walk down the pit entry road.

The gap between Module Sportif (Tower) and the pits grandstand has been used to insert temporary pits for United Autosports #22 and #32.
That is why the access has changed. There appears to be no public access at the Village end (pit exit end).
