So, presumably from post-racec scrutineering, both Toyota's have been disqualified for having skid blocks that were too flexible, and the second placed 911 in GTE Pro for being too low.

Th Official Statement
"Both cars suffered damage to their respective front floor areas during the race due to impacts against the new kerbs at Silverstone. Regrettably, this also caused both cars to fail deflection tests....

Can they sue the circuit? In the picture Alonso seems to acknowledge Toyota's German factory.

Interesting but F1 managed ok this year...?
Feels to me that Toyota were pushing for some serious marginal gains (and risk) when they designed this chassis back 2017 to try and take a win against Porsche. The chassis was able to to cope with whatever simulations they did to stay within the rules for the tracks as they were but now that Silverstone has been resurfaced - the modelling for the wear and tear is wrong and they've been caught out big style. Marginal gains only work when they are in your favour.
Perhaps Toyota will win their appeal that it wasn't them but the kerbs that did it when no one else seemed to have a problem...

It seems that Toyota have withdrawn their appeal against the disqualification.

If they have issues at Silverstone due to a "bumpy" resurface of the track, what's it going to be like at Sebring ?
That's just one big bump after another.
