New to the group

Hi all
I'm Sam, have been going to Le Mans for the last couple of years and am booked in to go again this year.
We will be arriving on the Wednesday afternoon and are booked in to watch the Thursday track time.
Wondering what is on in the area for the Friday when we will have some time to kill. Have been to the classic British welcome and will no doubt attend again this year but was keen to find out if there are any must do things on the Friday and of course over the full race weekend.
thanks in advance
sam

Hi Sam
Welcome to CA.
If you haven't yet been to the Driver's parade in the city centre that's a great away to spend the late afternoon and early evening on Friday.

Hi Dave
We where in the drivers parade the last couple of years with the Ford GT group. A very strange experience sitting in the car having 100k people shouting at you to rev it. Might give it a go from the spectators side this year.
Where in the town is best to watch from?

Get up there early as it is always well crowded. Brilliant atmosphere though.
