In 2017 The Swiss team move to LMP2. Shame not to compete in the top tier but at least they are still in.

IMHO that's the death of the LMP1 privateer class. It was never really exciting to watch, but with just 1 car left it'll be extremely dull...

With their experience in LMP1 and their budget, I think they will be a force to be reckoned with in LMP2.

Despite the complaints about limited choice of chassis, and the stock engine, I'm really looking forward to LMP2 next year.
The racing has been great this year and thanks to faster cars with 500bhp+ should be even better in 2017.

Problem is with LMP1 privateer is it's never going to be 956 962 class again. You can't buy a spec car and expect to be anywhere near the works teams unless you have a mega budget. Lmp2 looks great, competitive and good budgets.
