I'll be at the Classic - Who else will be there? What about a meeting at 8 pm on Saturday at the Courbes bar (inside Dunlop chicane)?

Sadly can't make the event - but having been on Epinette this year, I expect you'll like it - assuming they haven't been removed, plenty of decent ablution blocks (power from which was available) and the site drained well. Enjoy

I am there as well - as I'm on my own I would welcome meeting up.
How does a relative 'newbie' like me recognise the assembled host?

I will be there with my 12 year old son. We stay in Epinette as well.

We went to the 24h in June for the first time. Seems we both got hooked...

Also it would be sunday only I think as my travel plans have changed, is there much to see?

Full track.
Racing till 4pm Sunday, the cars are split into 6 grids, each grid takes turns in mini races, change about every 1 1/2 hours, so if you get there prompt in the morning you should see them all on track.

Plus a huge classic inspired village area and plenty of classic car club displays parked around the Bugatti circuit.  Oh and the paddocks are open to wander around if you have a paddock pass (like Goodwood Revival).

It's a great event Neil, Jo and I have been to four, although I gather its a bit busier than it used to be.
I hope it hasn't lost it's charm.

First time at the classic this year having been unable to make the main event for only the 2nd time in 13 or so years.  What's the deal with road closures around the circuit?  Is the one way system enforced by the local gendarmes or due to numbers are all roads just open as normal?

Also, do you have to pay for parking down at Mulsanne and Arnage?

Thanks

Count me in! Coming down tomorrow and again staying until Monday in the HotelF1 in Arnage... 1st time at the Classic, so I'm a bit excited!  Grin

I'm probably quite recognisable...  I have a wheelchair with an electric bike attachment on the front! Wink

Or - if I can find out how to get permission to use one of the disabled spaces behind the main stands... a phone call to the ACO Billeterie just drew a blank ("You could show your badge and ask at the entrance!") so I'm about to email them! - I may bring my car down to the circuit. Look out for a red '83 928S with a Blue Badge & hand controls.

Cheers & beers!
