Hi!

For me, and Tristan Le Mans is a full-on emotional experience, even more so this year.

Apart from Friday, I don't drink much beer, so when I come home, that it what I lust after, but as its straight into work, it has to wait.

What do others do?

Go to the chippy, followed by a shower then drink copious amounts of cider and wish I was still in a field in France with my muckers.....

No work until Saturday though, so had loads of time for the post Le Mans chill and get rid of the blues.

Well after a 2960km round trip the first order of business was play Frisbee with a very happy dog for half an hour then in the shower and on the couch for a few hours sleep

Here at home the whole time but still have to recover from the "Post Checkered Depression Syndrome" I get every year. Starts kickin' in about 2 hours before the end when realizing the finish is now really getting near.  Sad

Straight into work and spend every free minute into selecting and developing pictures.
Trying to get some more stuff done for the blog, but time isn't on my side. Will have my LM detox next weekend, 4 days on a festival : bbq, beer, Jack D and maybe some music.

Catch up on some sleep, enjoy the excitement on my son's faces when they wake up and find I'm home. If it hadn't been for the migrant delay in Calais on Monday those two things would have been the other way around (without the boys waking up to find I'm home as they'd already be awake!)

A couple of days home and the thoughts start arriving in my head for next year. I know I said I couldn't afford it 'cos of the family holiday to Florida next year and Mrs H was upset enough about her not being able to join me this year that I suggested I'd give it a miss until 2018 but could I sneak a visit to La Sarthe?Huh??

Been out to see a few customers this week and I've managed to steer every meeting round to Le Mans.
Argued with Lady Steve about the referendum result (that's still going on).
Emailed Speedchills about 2017.
Had a long bath.
Got the blues.
