TVR are going to be at Le Mans in 2017! They have a racer that completed a lap of LM in 3min 40s. Dream dream dream dream.
Apparently using the V8 Ford Coyote engine. It can only boost Fords reputation.

OMG this isn't a joke (yet)

Cosworth have the motor running, and Gordon Murray (McLaren F1 road car) is helping with the rest.

Shame its not the Speed 12 being resurrected  Evil Evil  Be good to see the badge back in action after the last Le Mans outings with the T400R in 2004-6.

The return appears serious (note the new owner was one of those behind Aston Martin's return in 2002) and the programme has eye wateringly good provenance with Cosworth and Murray involvement.

It does look like they are going to use Le Mans in 2017 to unveil their new road car and then be racing it at Le Mans in 2018.

Good for them, I think the more variety the better and while they will not be a top budget contender (initially) there will be a lot of support. Maybe they will do well, a finish is good and it will not look like a Nissan Richard (abbreviate).

Where would Einstein be if he had not tried things... ok a bit deep but you get my meaning. With a little bit of help there could end up being a new revival class, ok probably not but you have to look at different ways of progressing the sport than just Hybrid...

Sorry, too much wine again...
