Moved to Win10 and Edge a few weeks back, and last night went to post a 'reply' to a post on the forum.  I did a 'Preview' first to check the formatting, and noticed the preview pane was only one line deep, with scroll arrows on the right-hand side.

Did a bit of experimenting this morning, and noticed that in IE, the preview pane grows with the size of the post, but does not do so in Edge.

Looks like a minor incompatibility between Edge and the forum s/w.

Just found another area where the forum needs updating!!

The list of allowable file types that can be attached to a post needs to include docx and xlsx files - these are from MS Office since 2007.

I've just done that bit of updating, should be able to attach docx and xlsx files now (should you so desire).

Upgraded my laptop to Windows 10 but have never enabled edge in favour of Google's Chrome.

Just happy that 10 looks and feels more like 7 than 8 did.

As less than 10% of our site traffic is read using it, I don't generally test things in IE any more.

The forum software does need updating (currently on 2006 version) but we have gone by the philosophy "if not broken then don't fix" but yes, we should really update at some point.

It still works OK in IE, even in Win10.  It's this all-singing all-dancing (NOT) Edge where it doesn't work.  I have found other issues with Edge - for example, you can't print a 'selection' of a web page - you have to copy/paste it into a Word doc and print from there - or start up IE and print it from there.  PITA.

But I agree with Paul - Win10 is much better than 8/8.1
