Typically now the main event in the world is over Clas Ohlson  have these Ear Defender Radio's at less than half price http://www.clasohlson.com/uk/Radio-Ear-Defenders/Pr409565000?showRatings=true also this 4 man (1 man in comfort) http://www.clasohlson.com/uk/Asaklitt-4-Man-Tent/31-8240 tent looks good (shame about the colour) similar to a Coleman and with a 4000 hydrostatic head should even stay dry in one of Le Man's storms, at half the price of a Coleman even better

yes it wil be my replacement for next year, will take less space. May be we need some storm anchors for the gazebo as well, I'm not sure you were actually aware of the fine job you did holding it down in the Thursday night storm thorough.;-).

Didn't use the radio at LM, but I may get one for other events, they look dam handy.
The tent looks good, a copy(?) of the Coleman, which is a great size and has brilliant internal size. I would go for this, as the Coleman is £100+ and hard to find

Coleman seem to be expensive, if you look at some of the accessories they do, though very good.
I have had, for a number of years, one of these Tente ARPENAZ FAMILY 4.1 - 4 personnes, QUECHUA from Decathlon. Mine is older style with the door on the side, great for under €100.

They do not not leak, mine may do next year because it was covered in tree sap this year which may affect it, will find out next year when I put it up and water test it, may have to spray with special stuff...

Saw no leaks in either of mine Barry - I have the 4 berth which Debby used and the 6 berth which I was in. I do have the flysheet for the bigger one.

I bought back the bigger one (10 x 8 I think) from Florida last year, got it on Amazon at a really good price ($117.58, delivered to a Florida resident) but had to pay for an additional piece of luggage. it still worked out considerably cheaper than buying it here. I got the fly sheet for about $15, it was a return on Amazon.com.

The smaller one I also got through amazon.com with UK delivery, it hit an all time low price of £67.20 and shipping was £23.36, plus Import fees deposit so the whole lot cost £108.67. (use http://uk.camelcamelcamel.com/  to track Amazon prices and get alerts)

I had read about them leaking but as I say, haven't seen it yet - and they were used in pretty wet weather last August at a festival. I guess I should treat them with something. They really are quick to put up and take down...

To be fair,  youcould have taken a direct lightning strike and had your tent pitched upside down and not noticed any leaks in this years storm Geoff. Good chat about Curvette Racing in with the low flyers...
