In recent years the police have closed the road from the roundabout at Porsche curves to Arnage and Mulsanne corners from about midday on Mad Friday.
Does anybody know if they allow bicycles/pedestrians through?

Wasn't this already covered recently? I'll have a look...

EDIT: There's some chatter here on it but maybe not conclusive. http://www.clubarnage.com/forum/index.php?topic=12570.msg168303;topicseen#msg168286

They let you through so long as you can demonstrate to their utter satisfaction that you can perform a decent burn out...

I have cycled it. Although they have a fair organised by mulsanne village which I thought they may be using part of the track so that may be on.

Never argue with an idiot, they'll only drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

The idea was to cycle up to that from Bleu Nord.

The year before last we walked a 'lap' starting at Mulsanne (well, the bit from Porsche curves to Tertre Rouge was through the Village but it was the best we could do). Mulsanne to the Porsche Curves was certainly open to cyclists then and we saw plenty heading that way last year too.

One thing we we did notice - the Mulsanne straight feels bloody long on foot!

Shouldn't be a problem.  I'm planning to do the same on Friday afternoon.

Just found this :

About 4 km from the car show at Mulsanne, looks good enough for a visit on Friday.
