After 2 races it looks like the FIA, ACO have got it bang on. Most of us were of the opinion the FIA being involved would destroy endurance racing has we know it, but look at the series now! WOW fantastic, Silverstone and Spa were great. I take back my doubts in the FIA but i suspect the ACO had the upper hand. Roll on june and the rest of the races.

After the Silverstone race, Autosport had it adorning their front cover. I have never known this when there has been a GP W/End too with the exception of LM. It is certainly growing in popularity and I hope it continues to. As long as it does not attract the F1 tossers I will be happy.

Agreed, while many other disciplines of the sport are facing declining interest, attendance, and TV ratings, the WEC seems to be gathering momentum. A group of friends, and I are going over to Indy next Sat. for the Indycar race on the road course at IMS, and I doubt there will be more than 30,000 spectators there, a racing series trending in the other direction. Will be interesting to see what sort of crowds the WEC can attract after LM, and they get to some of the fly away rounds, away from the traditional Euro circuits.
