What about the Inside if Indi? Got to be one the best places i've been to and it used to be open to the public now just for the toffs.

I spoke to Richard Webb from Travel Destinations this morning. He would like to set the record straight as far as the reasons for developments at the Porsche Curves.
I agree with him in that TD have been unfairly blamed for the lack of public access. Here is the official statement from Travel Destinations:
The changes at Porsche Curves are purely for health and safety.
The ACO announced these changes more than a year ago.
The gravel trap in front of the Porsche Curves has been extended.
Energy absorbing barriers are being put in.
To accommodate this, the viewing bank has been bulldozed.
A new (smaller) bank has been created further in to our campsite.
These works are still on-going.
Because these earth movements are new, it will not be possible to allow thousands of spectators to climb and stand on the new viewing bank.
The ACO were never going to allow access public access to the bank this year.
Travel Destinations have petitioned the ACO for a limited number of our customers (staying at Porsche Curves) to be allowed access.
This was agreed earlier in the year.
The access will be for hundreds, not thousands.
As you know there is still public viewing access at the Porsche Curves on the other side of the track, accessed via the Beausejour campsite. This remains unchanged for this year.
Nobody likes change. We understand that.
We don’t like these changes either, but we are adapting our campsite to deal with it.

As per my PM, this has nothing to do with Travel Destinations. Indeed, I did not even mention them in my case.
I contacted them before contacting the ACO and received the same statement.
In fact - all good luck to them that they found themselves in a privileged situation.
Regardless anyway, Judging from the initial response, this issue is not as important to fellow fans as I thought it may be!
