Watched the first hour...Yawn.
Time to get ready for work, I'll look at the results later.  Sorry, can't get excited about United SportsCar.

If the racing was as hot as the temperature down here, I'd be a happy bunny.
At least they almost ran an hour without a FCY this year ...  Still a fun trip though Grin

Agreed Dottore, Sebring is a fun trip, as is the Petit.  Great fun to visit in person, but watching the Tudor series on TV is a cure for insomnia.  The US Fox Sports TV crew doesn't help matters, Varsha is terrific, but Justin tends to ramble, and Clavin Fish is just a w**k*r.

Fax, Are you heading over for Petit this year ?  It's on my schedule, combined with Renn Reunion at Laguna Seca.

Hi Kristof,
Sadly no, we can't make the Petit this year, my niece had the indecency to schedule her wedding for that Saturday.  It looks like its going to be a light racing calendar for Kirsten & I this year.  Between our respective work schedule's, and Lindsay's wedding, our only full race weekend will probably be the Indycar-Pirelli World Challenge weekend at Mid-Ohio.  On the positive side though, I already have next years Sebring week scheduled off work, first time I've been able to get that week in a couple of years.
Have fun in Florida, and have a cold beer for me.  Wish I was there...

Yep the race ain't much for sure.  The GTLM series is good and that's about the only part worth watching.  As to the Daytona Prototypes, they are lapping about 10 seconds a lap or more slower than the LMP1 cars a couple of years back.  Second rate racing but that's all we got over here now folks since NASCRAP took over.  Will try to watch some ELMS races on internet if I can find them.

The ELMS was certainly entertaining last year, with free internet feeds, which hopefully will remain in place this year.

Ah yes, the Turner BMW girls help make up for having to look at Daytona Prototypes all day.
The sooner those abominations are gone, the better.

Hopefully, and, still, and, forever, Le Mans.

(edit) We had it at the 24 of Daytona, and the 12 of Sebring, and I'm glad I'm old enuff to have caught it at both, but, alas, no more...... Sad

If anyone remembers King Krimson's line: "And I fear tomorrow I'll be crying..." I was crying it not to many years ago and it came all too true... Cry Cry Cry

Great photo Phil.    It's a shame the Mazda, the White Van and the Truck all managed to not get out of the way in time.  :-)

Otherwise a great photo.
