Does anybody want to sell me a Houx Annexe campsite ticket? I will also need two race tickets if you have them.

I want to meet up with my TR mates in Houx Annexe for the June 2004 24hours race. But I am travelling from Guernsey and can not make use of the ferry+ deals as they do not cover the Guernsey-St Malo route. I have not found any agencies prepared to sell campsite & race tickets without big "hospitality" add-ons.

All advice gratefully received.

At this stage, also try applying direct to the ACO for Houx Annexe tickets. You may just be lucky.

www.lemans.org, the email address is somewhere in one of the help files in this forum

(Wasn't there a rumour earlier this year that Houx Annexe was no longer available to the ACO for camping?)

Thanks for that, I had discounted that due to the comments made by others and previous experience.

I had also heard the rumour of a bike track (cycles) to be made at Houx this year. However went to see the site as passing was thru during September and there was no signs of any activity. I know that Continental Car Tours are taking reservations for this site with deposits required now.

I am sure the 'annexe' will be used this year, if you get no joy with the ACO, Page and Moy will start selling left over tickets in january.
A 3rd option would be to give one of the operators like Page and Moy a call (I have found them to be the most flexable in the past) and try to book your ferry thru them as a package, it may be a more pricey, but if you live in the tax free haven then there must be price to pay. Wink
