As we've not had a Poll for a while, and by special request by Matt, here's a light hearted return to the world of camper vans (again....)  Grin

You could count that as "something I knocked up in the garage"

You'd need a HUGE garage for that one. I cant even find space for the mini.

Although thoughts of the Italian Job are coming into light

True, but hopefully she won't come knocking on your door 9 months later !!

Surprisingly, I wouldn't choose any of the above. But I'm not going to bore you with my obscure camper of choice or indeed the reasons why. Many of you will have seen it on MB though.

Surprised to see no votes for the Converted Hearse option. I guess the Chrysler P/T Cruiser owners club hasn't found CA yet then?

LOL

A mate a mine had to go to Scotland on business recently. His company car was in for a service so he drove his colleague's PT Cruiser up. Whether it was because he is black, or because of the car (or a combination of both) as he went down the main street in Hamilton people were just standing and staring and pointing at him as he drove down the road.

Mine is the one pictured left but after taking my dad to the classic LM last year he said he would never go again unless we take his 34foot Allegro Bay.

Point made.

Easy, there. I have a PT and it's a fine little car. Looks a bit f**ked-up and it's not exactly quick off the mark, but it has a certain charm and is a refreshing change from the jelly-mould shapes of just about everything else on the road these days. Friends refer to it as "Chuggaboom".

Ah, the wanderer returns. Where you been, Haich?
I don't really know if it's safe - I hardly ever drive the bleddy thing. It doesn't appear to be anti-social, overtly aggressive or psychotic.
My daughter uses it mainly and given that she has most positively inherited some of my leadfootedness, I'm quite relieved that it is as gutless as it is.
I'm not aware of any nasty issues with the car - but you've got me all worried now.......
