Hi Everyone ,

Not sure what the protocol is on this site but thought better just do this.

6 1st timers attempting to come to the Race in my Land Rover 101. Fueled by enthusiasm and adventure we've no idea what we are getting into.

We've booked a ferry crossing but cant find how to book a pitch at Blu Nord!

Steve

Welcome Steve,

Tickets I believe are sold out for Blu Nord but theres always tickets come up in the Swap or Sell section. With 6 + Land Rover you'll need 2 pitches as each pitch is 5x7m. Download the guide (don't forget to donate) as this is the most informative updated publication on going to Le Mans.

Maybe Team Lang have some spares - email

theguys@teamlangoustine.com

You need one ticket per vehicle, but remember the pitches are 7m x 5m, so depending on how many/large your tents are, you may need a couple of tickets.

Bring anything you want basically. We've probably seen it all  Grin Probably most important IMO, fridge or some sort of beer cooling.

Bedbug,

Welcome!

You may not be too late for Blue Nord if you try a UK ticket agency.  The one that I use  is Just a Tickets  (I've found them to be very good, though you pay a bit more than going direct, and I've tried to but from the ACO but never found it easy).

Final payment for tickets through Just Tickets is normally December but was delayed this year (new Porsche Centre, computer problems etc) so invoices have only recently been sent out, payment is required in January.

At least some people who pre-booked will reduce their needs or pull out - it happens every year.

There is usually a waiting list, but get on it asap.

Good tickets do become available on the forum, and I've done this myself. It takes a level of trust to turn up on the basis that there will be a bloke that you've never met waiting there on the day with a ticket for you.

If all else fails, just go. You can always find a pitch at Arnage until about Friday.

Watch out.  It's very addictive.

Hi Bedbug
Welcome to CA.
Charcoal BBQ's allowed, just watch out if it's a hot year the grass doesn't catch fire, your neighbours might get a little upset.
Just about anything you need to know is either in the CA guide or can be found by using the search function.
If it's obscure just ask.

Most of all enjoy your first LM, always a little envious of first timers, shock & awe comes to mind.
And yes it's addictive, it's going to be my 14 visit, some on CA have clocked up 40+.

Welcome tot the annual Ticket lottery hosted bij the "best " organisation known

Mostly from day one its sold out ? !!!

Ticket agency's and swap section on this forum are best options.

1 camping ticket is Always with 2 entry tickets. 6 people = 2 camping tickets and 4 entry ticket.
Do NOT buy the extra 2 entry tickets , Always available at entrance but on swap section cheaper.

Essentials : as much as you can put in your car. Pack for rain and pack for Sunshine. Cold beer and hot mail, rest is optional.
