Speaking to one of the ticket agencies yesterday,  I was informed that he was in Leatherhead Man's for a meeting with the ACO,  about this campsite. Apparently the size of the site of some to be much reduced and even the agencies that have an allocation of tickets confirmed, may not get that allocation.
Anyone shed any light on this?

Yup, it looks to be a case of they don't want anyone to camp (unless you use Camping Merde) and all the prime sites have been bulldozed and reassigned to corporate corpulence.

If you are French, they are happy for you to park your car on the grass verges of the surrounding roads and, yes, by all means, sleep in your car.

Or am I being cynical?

I wonder if the fairground (2 rides and a sweetie stall) are moving back to Tetre Rouge, as Porsche don't like that sort of thing, but I suspect its gone to corporate hospitalisation.

Talking of Porsche Experience Centers, we've got one just up the road, I saw it today.  Its a caravan Grin

Update on situation. I had an e-mail yesterday form another agency I am registered with and apparently the problem is with Maison Blanc ticket allocation not Tertre Rouge. This is due to the new Porsche Experience centre that we know about.
I was given a bit of mis-information so it seems that panic is over, except trying to secure some tickets.

That's a relief, I reckon if TR does get reduced / go it won't be for fairground rides, the price they charge now there must be more money in camping passes than dodgems

I think by posting this you will give the ACO ideas. 'Luxury condos overlooking historic corner.'
