He was run over by a lorry after stopping on the hard shoulder of the M20 in Kent and getting out of his van.

Indeed, very sad.  Good grief, you just never know when you number will get called, like Bbo Wollek getting mowed down by a little old man in a pickup truck while cycling near Sebring.
