The Met Office is now forecasting no rain today!

Seems that the depression over France hasn't moved as far north as expected.

Still going to be bastard cold and windy.

See you all there shortly.

Didnt need to wait long, it was absolutely hosing it down when it was red flagged

Well done and top marks for tenacity! I was in the start/finish stand, and then get sodden just getting back into the car to leave.  Took half an hour on full demist and heat to dry out while driving through the downpour.

All in all an interesting season opener in different ways, toyota and audi close, porsche not far behind, good battles in the classes, fun and games in the greasy moments between dry and wet during the race.

A very soggy end to good day.  By the time I got back to the car I was thoroughly wet and I'm drying the inside of the car at the moment.  I was initially doubtful about the Red Flag but once out of the cover of the stand it was clearly the only sensible decision.  Audi will be wondering how it all went so wrong but a good result for Toyota and pleased with the debut podium for Porsche and Webber.  Hopefully we won't get repeat of the deluge in June Smiley.
