Does anyone (i.e. Nordic, Rickmeister, Werner etc) have any photos of the 1990 race, specifically of the C2 winning Spice 89c driven by Mike Youles?

Mike is an old pal from years ago and he has very few shots of the car, or indeed him on the podium next to Brundel, Price Cobb and John Neilsen. It was of course the pre-digital age. Clearly had I been driving and winning at LM I'd probably like a few photos of the event too!

Sorry, Nothing from me either, but I know a man who may, I will ask

On another note, I think My late Mum used to work with Mick Youles mum in Horley, place called SPD, or 'cool country yogurt'

Small world Andy. I know him too because of his Sprites. I may even be seeing him at an event on the 5th of January.

Hi Andy, Gary,

any chance of talking him into writing a small personal report about his 1990 race for the next CA Guide?

Hi guys, thanks ever so much for your efforts, I knew we'd turn up something.

Truck, Mike says thanks! Werner I'll see what I can come up with, shouldn't be a problem, you normally can't shut him up! Small world indeed Gary!

Happy to supply a picture Cheesy

Tell Mike "well done" and to buy the video http://www.amazon.co.uk/Le-Mans-1990-Review-DVD/dp/B001CWLFAE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1387193814&sr=8-1&keywords=le+mans+1990 which shouldn't bite into his racing budget too much.

There's also the official video of 1990 at the French Institute National Audiovisuel, which I'm downloading now for €3.99 and its in English Cool

I can't see anything of the car on the dvd, because it concentrates on C1 (The first 19 finishers were C1 even after loads of retirements!)  but theres a few seconds of the podium.  This may be on youtube

Yes, those were the days! In 1990 35 out of 49 cars came frome the top prototype category C1 ! This year there were just 8 cars in LMP1  Sad
