Andy - I'm sure that the ghostly Typhoons must have just been trying to clear the Panzers out of the way of the Commer - after all, us chaps simply wouldn't fire blue on blue - we just don't do that sort of thing - it just isn't cricket.   Ops will try and make sure that they give you a wider berth next time, minimise the AAA, eliminate clutter with ECM, provide ASW support over the Channel, use CAS with mobile FAC support and you'll be home and dry in MB before you know it in time for tea and medals.
