Finally noticed this one - add one or two to the order for me - prefer the original colours, but happy to go with the flow.

Any further progress on this??

Is there any way that, say 50 or 100 can be ordered and placed into a "shop" section on the website?

Whilst they may not all sell in one go, I'm sure they would sell by the time June comes around.

Problem is that 100 flags would have to be paid for before being out in the shop and at £29 each that's some lay out. If anyone has a spare three grand kicking about and doesn't mind not making a pennies profit I'm sure we could sort something out.

The 'CA shop' idea is a good one, but needs a start-up investment.

Maybe this is a potential candidate for 'crowd funding'. The shop would (of course) not charge a mark-up, but it would need working capital to buy stock.

Potential CA liveried items might be...

Flags
PVC Banners
Laser cut car stickers
T-Shirts / Polos / Fleeces

Anything else?

P.S. Long ago, back in the 90's we had the annual CA 'sticker challenge', where we tried to get CA stickers on as many 24h competitors cars as we could. It might be fun to try that again.

Just to spice that up a little bit - our friends from Turn 10 at Sebring, have become particularly skilled at this over the last few years....

.......about time they had some competition?   Evil

Just a thought, but a supplier like 'shotdeadinthehead.com' could be useful as they don't carry stock, but print to order?

The "shop" prices should contain some sort of mark up to cover any admin costs that may crop up. Any left over monies can go to a nominated charity.

Lawnmower Man had some CA lanyards done a couple of years ago, handy together with PVC ticket holders.
Not forgetting CA thermal mugs!

With the memories of Le Mans 2015 warming me, I realise that I was naked. I did not have a flag. I found this thread, but cannot see if flags were made and bought.

But I want one.

Did they get created, and are there any spares?

Original run, the light blue ones with the chequered background, was 20.
And I think the second run , the darker blue ones, was about the same number.
So that's not a lot, some have been nicked on the campsites, some lost/damaged.
Most people who have one are hanging onto them.

You could try and organise another production run for more recent CA members.
I think Grand Fromage or perhaps Delboy have the art work.
The previous 2 runs were order only, money upfront from those who wanted one IIRC. About £20 - 25 apiece.
Unfortunately I think the guy who did the original ones died. When the second run was done nobody could be found who could do the subtle checkered flag background effect of the originals.

Could we perhaps ask Rusty to help with some new, updated artwork?

There are enough guys on the site who know where you get limited runs printed.

At £20/£25 I'm in.

I might be interested in a new one , if it was sufficiently different from the old one.
