I like that. A better contrast between the two colours. Probably easier to spot at dusk whilst wearing beer goggles too.

Are the powers that be ok with all this?

I quite like the blue on yellow look, but perhaps a warmer yellow to make it less IKEA.

With all due respect to those who did the original artwork and design what do folks feel about having a second alternative design?  eg

Would look good on the back of your mandatory French hi-viz vest.

I like it! It would help me find my tent at 3.00am Sunday! Gets my vote.

Can we have a decent size, like 5' x 3' if possible??

I agree that 5' by 3' is a good size to go for. Nicely big enough to be proudly flown - not so big that it hangs limply in anything other than a force 10 gale.

A quick tally has 15 takers. I'll get a price on 20 flags today and get back to you.

Ok folks. I called him and got this reply.....

Hi Si,
thanks for the enquiry.  20 printed flags to your design hemmed all round with sleeve to take pole would be £29 each plus £15 postage.  Please call or text to go ahead.  Thanks simon

How does this compare with the last batch?

IIRC last batch were £20.
Are eyelets an option rather than a sleeve?
Most people want to have several flags per pole, and a sleeved flag reduces the placement options considerably.

Memory played tricks.
The original batch were £10 each in 2005. Bargain.
And the second batch were 25€ in 2009/2010?

did a job recently for a sign company up here.

Found out that the company that they used to print the banner was from down south. May be worth seeing how much they would charge for a number of flags.

May be worth asking at what point the price goes down, due to set up cost.

That price was for twenty flags, with options for more as and if required. I'll call them this morning and see about the eyelet option rather than the sleeve. Obviously the place is here in town so we won't have to pay the £15 postage.

Dayglo yellow attracts insects like crazy. May be less of a problem on flags than the t-shirts I did but beware.

Certainly 5*3 in the lightest polyester flies really well from the 7m fibreglass poles we have on our pitch. Quality linen flags are too heavy and even worse when wet.

Any further progress on this??

Is there any way that, say 50 or 100 can be ordered and placed into a "shop" section on the website?

Whilst they may not all sell in one go, I'm sure they would sell by the time June comes around.
