10 years ago MB was first come first serve as well.
No pitches no numbers.

Last years its even so that pitches stay empty on saturday because ticket offices buy them on wholesale.
If they sell 80% of their tickets they are sattisfided.
I noticed the gaps at MB too.  Words like pi$$ up and brewery come to mind.

Looking back at old photos we did take up a bit more space than 5x7, and there were gaps between groups.

You'll never get me back in Poo Nord

BN does have some advantages.

Security is now a lot better, if you ain't got a ticket you don't get in, unlike MB where the great unwashed with a GA just wonder through during the race, some picking up what they fancy.
It's a lot easier to get in and out of by car/bike than MB.
Even the most distant areas of BN are a shorter walk into circuit than 50% of MB.
You can get pegs in the ground, at the Classic I was bending rock pegs!!
It's almost impossible to get tickets except at exorbitantly over inflated prices through agencies.
Camp C'Arnage is on BN.
The banking at MB is over rated, the best bits have been taken over by corporate, the rest I can get to, but wouldn't bother, see comment about great unwashed Wink.
MB was the best camp site, but I would question that now.
Rose tinted glasses and all that.

See you on the banking again this year bazzer and bring that pretty pink hat you had last year, it really complimented your glasses... Grin

Hell, I am not sure I even know where BN is, funny I moved from Houx Annexe at the same time as most people moved from MB to BN!!

Am I trying to tell you something or is it the other way around?

Phil
I take it you'll be dropping by chez Tres Hombres sur Maison Blanche (et tu Si) pour une verre de pastis avec moi, Pete, ajw and Tony! Wouldn't be the same without your visit mate. Look forward to seeing you all in June.
