This film should be played at high volume, so don't come complaining about it! And who the hell is Steve?

I'm sure, if we ask nicely, Felix will bring his van again!

I'm sure I've seen the restoration thread of this HY van on Pistonheads.
If it's the same one, the company that did the bodywork bodged a lot of the replacement flat panels and rust started showing through very quickly. Not sure it ever was resolved.

And you're not so much "thinking outside the box" as thinking about being IN the box!  Grin

...and it's £7,500. That's a LOT of coffee to sell!

Lux pat,

that's my first thought too.
Kev - is this a business proposition or just a different way of doing Le Mans?
If you just want to buy the van, go down there and sell a few drinks, then go to enjoy yourself in the time honoured fashion, then great, go for it. It would be a tremendous novelty and a great way to meet people. Sell the van on your return.

However, if you need to earn a living from it - a different story.

Hi Andy,
We have since tracked down a few good coffees, though none to compare to Mulsanne village at 5 in the morning all those years ago.
Smiley happy memories

Good old Felix, here's a snap of his van, it replaced the unreliable Commer in c2005. The Morris FG broke down on the way to LM too...

Brian I gather you've not seen Felix in Liverpool recently? Last time I spoke to him he'd just moved from the Wirral to Ipswich but the chavs had burnt his new van out. There was talk of him giving in and instead developing his ideas for a revolutionary battered sausage. I've heard nowt since...
