A sad day for La Sarthe and endurance racing. After his sponsors reneged last year his company was put into what is the equivalent of a Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the USA. Yesterday, the death knell was pronounced and the company was finally declared bankrupt. Henri hopes perhaps to prepare cars for other teams for this year's race and perhaps eventually get together with the Sebastien Loeb team.

I think the miserable grumpy twisting owld get should stay away. I've never liked him or his parochial ways.

I know Pescarolo, and he is neither grumpy nor miserable. Yes he looks odd these days due to his facial palsy but I've never met a more positive and optimistic person.

Sad indeed. Sorry Mr. Zarse, siding with His Cheesiness on this one!

Think we should all wear green t-shirts on the terraces this year!

Always sad when someone loses a business, even more so when that business is loved by so many. I must say that Henri certainly hasn't done himself or his team any favours in the last few years, and has made some pretty poor choices. Non the less, he is still a Le Mans legend and on the two or three occasions when i have met him, I must say he came across as a genuinely good bloke. Always has plenty of time to talk to fans, no matter how much more important things he has waiting to take care of. I hope he continues to take part in the sport that he dearly cares about.
