Gerard Neveu, CEO of Le Mans Endurance Management (LMEM): “After announcing an exciting 2013 calendar it is important to clarify the classes that will be eligible to race in the European Le Mans Series early so the teams can start to make plans to participate. We have stability in the rules for the LMP2, LMPC, LMGTE Pro and LMGTE Am classes and the ACO have taken the important decision to open the GTC class to the many GT3 cars that race in Europe. We already have several teams wishing to run cars in the GTC class and the 2013 ELMS grid will have a positive boost as a result of this decision.”
