The only self appointed peer on Maison Blanche!

Deb, your garage door has finally been closed and above it the Termietermite sign is removed from in its frame, the wall's stark blankness staring back at the rest of us sat disbelieving in the tribunes; but it was a truly legendary DNF from the bravest lady driver. Your retirement leaves the Club Arnage pitlane a very much sadder place tonight, but what a race you had and you leave us all with only happy memories.

Godspeed, it was a pleasure and a privilege to know you.

Very well put

Ian has posted the funeral details on FB, I won't copy them here until he does.

I wondered whether those of us who could, could have an online get together on here at the time/date?   Or perhaps an online get together that evening?

This is a lovely suggestion. Please let us know the time when we can all stop what we are doing and have a minute's silence.

Only just caught up with this, really sorry to hear the news.  We have great memories, particularly from Camping Eau Rouge in 2007.

Very best wishes from all of Team Muz, we'll be online Monday.

Ian and all members of CA, on behalf of all the members at Beermountain - your "friends across the field", I just wanted to say how sorry we were to hear this news and of your loss. Le Mans friends are nearly always very close ones, and I know how devistated many of you will be feeling now and in the days ahead.

Our thoughts are with you Mr T, and all at CA at this sad and difficult time. Do remember the happy times if you can.

I think the last two lines of the ode of remembrance are particularly fitting here.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

Deepest condolences to you for the loss.

I only met her a few times at various tracks but I do remember the 1st time well where I spent an enjoyable few hours shooting the breeze in the Woodcote grandstand at Silverstone during a classic sportscar race on the LMES weekend.  She loved her sportscar racing and her slot cars if my memory serves me correct (another shared passion).

Just seen the thread. Wobbly now, and still cannot find the words. If I can help, I will be there for you.

My thoughts exactly. I've been here at CA for quite a few years now and Deb was a leading light even when I first signed up here. She'll be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

RIP Deb, gone but not forgotten.
