I'm going to be the first, and it looks like I could well be, a lone dissenter.
I do like the simplicity of the design, and I do like the 'Gulf' colours. I also think Russell is a master at graphic design - having designed several personal logos here on CA (my own included), some of the designs of previous CA shirts have been down to him, and of course for several years there has been the rather superb Brethren shirts.
However, if you look at the top of the screen, you will see the Club Arnage colour scheme that has been in use since at least April 2003, and Russell's suggestion to, effectively, re-invent the wheel goes against the grain for me.
I have nothing against moving away from the 'traditional' white-based t-shirt, nor from changing the 'standard' design on the front - maybe something could be done with a blue base with another colour (light blue??) to pick out the CA logo, similar to the polo shirts produced by JPC a few years back.
Many of us have various items which carry the current colour scheme and logo, eg flags, window stickers etc - as does this web site - and I think to change the whole colour scheme is a step too far.
I would be interested in Mr G Fromage's view.

OK, I do agree the Gulf blue and orange is an iconic colour scheme. But.. I also think it has been terribly over-exposed in the last decade, and that rather dilutes its historic significance. Although I'm not against using it on the CA T-shirt, perhaps we could put a CA twist on it, and change the sky blue to CA blue. Several variations of Gulf blue have appeared on the track, from the deep blue of the 1994 Kremer K8 to the pale blue of the 917, so it has historic precedent. I would be interested in Mr G Fromage's view.

I like Rusty's design. Put me down for 2 please, Rusty.
Perhaps it's time for the CA logo to be reviewed?

Can we incorporate a small acknowledgement or tribute to Deb in the t shirt design?

Perhaps something subtle? perhaps around the back of the neck, or maybe a circle on the shoulder, with Space Reserved for Termietermite in it....I like to think she'll be jumping around the shoulders of those with the best view come June

That's bizarre, I'd opened this thread with the thought of suggesting something like that too. Sitting very firmly on the fence (and skirting around the exact colour of blue for the moment), what about keeping it simple and sticking with Rusty's proposal on the front (I like it. it's a little different), but having the CA logo on the back, perhaps with a word or so to Termie underneath? Just a thought.

An homage would be nice I think. A sihouette of a small motorised scooter and crossed crutches would do the trick. I think she'd be embassed by having her name or face on it...

Excellent idea - and I share Andy's point of view about her name on the shirt
