Well, I guess Le Mans is over for me before it all started.
Slipped away this morning and had a nasty fall. Felt like something snapped right above my knee.

Called an ambulance, off to the hospital and worst case scenario : the ligaments (or how do you say that in English ?) of my knee are torn off. Result : got a huge brace around it right now and I'm being picked up tomorrow to get back to home, almost right into surgery.

No 24h, guess the Classic won't be an option either. Sucks bigtime Sad.

As Phil says - that sucks...

Sorry to hear that; hope that it doesn't hurt too much.. could be as short as 6 weeks recovery which *might* work.

I guess my source of fantastic photos from this years event has gone as well Sad Sad Sad

Hope you get better soon....

Having just torn the cartilage in my knee, I can as they say, feel your pain. Sucks big time about missing the 24hr and the classic but health comes first - just have to do it bigger and better next year. Good luck with the surgery.

Bad luck Kristoff, That not only sucks, it's gutting.

To make you feel even more worse, I doesn't leave you much time to rearrange the lounge in your house so as to have the recliner chair, toilet one side, beer fridge the other......... Evil

Wishing you a speedy recovery
