The latest radar trick is to set up a camouflaged tent in a field overlooking the motorway about four clicks before the péage, where you get stopped and fined. Almost impossible to spot.

Don't use the motorway, enjoy your journey to Le Mans, soak up France and not worry about the cops! Win win. Leaving soon.

Love the motorway in france. After 3 hours traveling through belgium you will love the perfect bitumen in france.
With a trailer no worries for speed traps so that is covered.
Save trip en see you al there

Max, you are so right, I remember driving through France a couple of years ago to go to Spa (which was wet), and noticed such a contrast when crossing the border, absolutely crazy. I was also told that the Belgians are quite keen to stop speeding and yet there were very few speed signs!! But, the scenery around Spa was incredible.
Well worth a trip as long as you take your macintosh.
Will go again in the next couple of years...
