Good to see Derek Bell at 70 still willing to give it a go!

Only 2 Jags on the list and one of those is in C2, but 3 Lancias have been found, wonder if there are enough spares for all 3?

Mixed feelings on the race, the last couple have been a bit of a let down, good to see them running but cant help thinking they are not all doing themselves justice.

Strange that the Group 44 Jag is classified as C2, but very welcome indeed! Such happy memories of these cars in my early LM days. Big disappointment with no Silk Cut cars, just a Bud Light XJR16 which has no LM standing at all. 3 LC2s will be fabulous but think you're right about the spares  Wink

Great to see Dinger in the Kenwood car, and a good serving of the venerable 956/962s in classic colours, so definitely enough to get me up in time on Saturday. Also good to see that Peter Garrod's Momo NPTI is in as when I spoke to him last, he was wondering if he was going to make the cut for this race. He usually runs a K3 in the Classic and this year is a big step up for him. Hurrah!  Smiley

Make sure you've bought a copy of "Motor Sport" this month - The Glory of Group C.
Covers the tic tac Porsche 956/962, Martini Lancia LC2, Silk Cut Jaguar XJR-9, Nissan R90CK and the Peugeot 905B. Great reading with the bonus of an extended feature on the 956/962 Porsches.

Shame there aren't more Jags, but looking forward to seeing the Lancia's.
What day/time is their practice/qualifying? As they might not all make the race.

The Group 44 cars were among the best presented cars I have ever seen at Le Mans. When you could wander around the tented paddock on the Friday and see them build the cars up thier area was spotless and the cars looked terrific. Not suited the Le Mans but still put up a good show I always thought.

The reason its not in C1 maybe because it never was a C1 car, it raced as GTP if my memory serves me well.

Mind you it was not a C2 either then, which kind of scuppers the reason for it not being a C1!

To ensure an Aston does win a race at Le mans in 2012, they are in fact having a race all of thier own.

See the Rowan Atkinson is down to race one, as is Dave Richards.

Think I will as well.

Does not sound like a must see race.
