Hi All

I work for a little film co and this year we're making a film for Audi UK about the fans of Le Mans, and the annual pilgrimage down to the circuit from the UK each year.  Audi have very kindly given us a little prize to help get the right person to guide the viewer through the film... An R8 (for a week!).

Basically the prize is the R8 for a week (we leave Weds), 5 star hotel in Rouen on Weds night, arrive at Circuit Thurs.  Crossings, fuel, tolls, camping, tent etc, tickets all paid for of course, plus £250 beer money.  To enter, you just need to upload a short clip of yourself saying what you love about LM and why you should win. It's on Audi.co.uk's homepage if you fancy it!  The winner will be filmed on the road trip down to Le Mans to give a bit of a back story to the film.

On another note, once we're arrive at Le Mans we are looking to meet up with fans who love the event and are regulars so they can give the viewer a bit of an insight into what goes on and why it's so awesome.  So, if you fancy being in the film but you don't fancy entering the competition, please can you PM me and we can chat about it more?

Thanks all!

Will

Much as I would be happy to park an R8 next to my tent the boot isn't big enough to fit all my clobber, I would need it from Sunday 10 June for 9 days and my co-pilot lives in Norwich and isn't available for filming before 4 May. Apart from which we are guaranteed to fail any screen test and as real fans cant wait until 25 May to make our plan for this years pilgrimage. Indeed logistics are sorted and packing has already commenced! Then again if I already had the keys I would make an effort to select a new co-pilot who is more likely to pass a screen test!

Appreciate you are part of the crew, not the competition planner, but 13-18 June isn't even a whole week! And it is ironic that the co-pilot is not allowed to aim the thing!

Can we swap the R8 for a RS6 Avant? Need space for £250 worth of Waggle Dance you see.

Ps. Might be a good idea not to look at my signature down below

Which has most airbags, the R8 or the RS6?

Doesn't it say the tents and camping etc are included?  I assume you camp on the Audi site, no?

I'd have done this if it weren't for the fact that half an hour in an R8 ain't that appealing!  The £250 beer money on the other hand....  Provided the beer comes from Britain, that is.

True, and I guess I wouldn't need the jump leads, WD40 & Duck Tape either?

You can take as much gear as you like!  We have vans with us so can take all the stuff you need...  Camping isn't at the Audi site, but at Houx - but if the winner already has a pitch booked in another site with pals then they could still use that.

You know - I could enter this....but knowing my luck I'd win, and then have to decide between what sounds like a great weekend, and a divorce......Seriously, who decided it was a good idea to have a baby over LM weekend?  ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!   Roll Eyes
