All going ahead on the 10th December as far as I am aware....  Attendees: Jules Neil Kev LB Chris24 Fran No word still from Gordon or any Liverpool Boys. We havent really fixed a meeting time/place or booked a table, but can look at that nearer the time! Should be able to get free parking at my office and the Peveril is a good pub just near work, so can nip across to open the gates when needed! F |

Well - I prefer to think of it as a classic green tile Manchester hostelry and an oasis of hoppiness! http://www.yelp.co.uk/biz/peveril-of-the-peak-manchesterI notice one of the reviews refers to it as being a short walk from town in Castlefield... but its actually pretty much city centre (unless you think of Harvey Nicks as being the centre of town). (Most importantly on this occasion, its just seconds from my work car park....) F |

Thats ok Kev - I have been speaking to Neil earlier today and it looks like we are going to cancel and re-arrange for some time in January.
I think he was going to try and contact you direct today.

Shame this ain't happening now. Lifes life and has a nasty habit of getting in the way of fun.
Maybe wait until early spring and turn it into a pre LM / LM Classic planning meet? I'm hoping to have the Jensen up and running as soon as they stop salting the roads and a high speed run to Manc would be a good shake down.

Seeing as the southerners are planning a meeting in Reading, should we try and stoke up a little interest for a Northern meet? We could make it the LM Classic planning Meeting? Anyone up for it?

When it comes to Northern Meets, piss-up and brewery are two words that spring to mind.... but without the actual piss-up or brewery involved!  I am up for it, as always! Flexible for dates, except can't do the first weekend in May. F |
