It was the plan (to make up for all the cr*p over the last couple of months) but now it seems that chemo will prevent it.

I can't make out whether it will be a venue next year or not but if it is then we'll try our best to be there as I have never been to Portugal and it sounds like a good  place to spend a bit of the autumn.

A good friend of mine went two years ago for a Historic race meet. They got cheap flights and 4 nights in a self catering holiday cottage type thing with a pool and had change out of £300. That's £300 for two, not each! It was October -ish and it was still shorts and short sleeves weather.

Very good if you ask me, just need to ensure Mrs Nordic has no idea before about the proximity of a race track, then imagine my surprise when I find out upon landing that a race track is just round the corner and behold a race meeting is going on!
