We had a good time, sorry you couldn't be there for the race. Rick and his brother made good use of your tickets, no ID checked or whatsoever! Hope Deb will have a speedy recovery.

Most of them had passed out at the campsite by that time. Vegas and I did make it up there eventually, but did not stay long as we had gotten down to the paddock to party in the bar on top of the pit building!

Saw the aftermath of the accident at the time but not the accident itself. he tried to say he didn't know what happened maybe the throttle jammed. seeing that he got on the grass and the rest is history.
Another lucky marshal stood right a the end of the armco  Shocked

Fantastic race with quite a few odd incidents like the Mclaren going out in the 1st 15 mins & the 458 being excluded for not doing a drive through  Embarrassed

Lots of good 24 hour race this year, hope the Britcar 24 will carry it on

Apparently the driver went up into the paddock bar, on top of the pit building and got hammered after the incident. His drunk behaviour must have been pretty bad, cause he got arrested by the police at midnight, while still in his race overall Grin
